Squirrel Street processing varies by submission method and plan level.

Documents submitted digitally (email, upload or mobile apps) will be processed within one business day (but usually much faster). 


Documents submitted via regular mail varies by plan.

  • XS: 2-5 business days
  • S: 1-3 business days
  • M: 1-2 business days
  • L: 1 business day
  • XL: 1 business day
Please note that we count business days from the day after we have received the envelope.  So for instance, if we receive an envelope for an L or XL plan, we aim to finish processing it by the next business day.  If you received notification that your envelope was received by Squirrel Street more than 5 business days ago and your envelope has not been processed, please contact our support team at help@squirrelstreet.com

Expediting Processing of documents submitted by mail


The easiest way to speed up your processing is to send receipts and other documents using Express Post or another fast carrier, since the longest part of processing is often the mail. Make sure to include a cover sheet with your account name, your name and email address inside your envelope so that we can easily identify the package. Magic Envelopes do not require you to further identify yourself, as they are all embedded with unique tracking codes that associate them with your account automatically. You are welcome to use your own packaging and postage any time. You are responsible for any shipping expenses incurred outside of our postage paid Magic Envelopes.
